Bostons Hancock Tower is one of my favourite buildings. I love how I.M. Pei the architect made a modern skyscraper that doesn't overshadow some older smaller buildings surrounding it. By design, the reflective windows help highlight one of Bostons oldest buildings - the church of St. Trinity and the tinted blue windows blend in with the sky on a clear day.

Slieve League is the second highest sea cliff in Europe at over 600 metres in height. Visitors can follow a path that rides along the top of the cliffs shown in the picture. Unfortunately on this trip, after a long day, I didn\'t have the time or energy to venture further than where this shot was taken.

ARA Libertad (Q-2) is a tall ship built in the 1950s as a school ship in the Argentine Navy. It is over 100 metres long and the main mast is over 50 metres tall. In 1966 she established the world record for transatlantic sail crossing of 6 days and 4 hours.

Poulnabrone Dolmen is a neolithic tomb for the \'speacial dead\' dating from around 3200 to 3800 BC. Poulnabrone literally means \'The hole of the sorrows\' and the tomb is one of the most famous and best preserved of it\'s type in the country. Excavations revealed that over 20 people from the bronze age, both adults and children, were buried beneath the tomb.

An amazing sculpture of Irish playwright Tom Murphy by french artist Bernard Praz. It's formed from an arrangement of found objects, which created the portrait when viewed from this particular angle using the Spanish Arch in the background as the dome of the head. This installation was present during the 2003 Galway arts festival.
